I've never had any luck with the remedies I've heard of. I notice my nails will turn yellow if I don't use a base coat when I paint my fingernails, as another person pointed out.

If nothing works, it will grow out if you leave polish off for a while.

First, make sure that it's not cause by a health condition. Second, if you use nail polish, don't use them for a while. Nail polish can stain you nails, after a long term use. That's why it's good to take a break from them. Third, there's great hand soak kits out there for this kind of situation. Try CVS, Rite-Aid or Avon. In a short while, you will be flaunting those fingers again. Hope this help you out :)

Yellow stains can be caused by not using a base coat when you paint your nails. I've had people tell me to rub vinegar on my nails if I get them. But to prevent them, just use a good base coat!
