when i was in elementary school!! (im 21 now and a junior in college so it was a loooong time ago) best thing about that game was my little sister used to cry and get us in trouble if we didnt put her as a character in the game so to make her happy me and my brother would add her in then try to walk across the river that was like 80ft deep and try to kill her haha...we did the same thing in amazon trail...we were mean...but that game is awesome!! thanks for the trip down memory lane

First time I played this game was waaaaaay back when my children were in grammer school on our ancient Apple II computer. All I remember is that I couldn't hit a deer or bear to save my life, and when I went rafting towards the end of the game, everyone was lost because the rocks were THE ONLY THING I could hit! Ahhh, good times!

I first played this 26 years ago at Lawerence Livermore Labs near Berkely. You sat next to a printer and typed every command - then the computer printed a result. This was back on the "You see a small house" text only days.

My personal opinion, I think its just because America is like a blank slate and its welcomed for other nations to come here. And being that their are a bunch of different people, I feel like some people feel like their race is being drowned out and they want to be the "loudest" one most known, hey look at me i am here. I think with black and white people, their will never be a happy medium in that regard of which speak. The reason I think that is because if one were to embrace the other to them its like saying- I condone slavery, or I condone constantly being blammed for ever for being a racist-

I think I was ten. I played again when I was 12 or so and we always starved because I was a bad hunter. I guess I'm more of a gatherer.

I played it on our very first computer, back in 1996. It was fun. The updates or upgrades were not as good as the original.
