I had to endure that today. You know how much this makes me angry? I wanted that person to leave but i didn't wanted to be rude. HE IS STILL HERE.

It's even worse when it's someone you don't know.
I was sitting on my own watching TV when there was a knock at the door. When I opened it 72 Nigerians came in. They were everywhere - in bed, on the couch, in the bathroom - well, I wasn't going to stand for that, so I went out.
When I tried to come back later they wouldn;t open the door.
Anyway, I don't mind - it's quite cosy in this shed.

Well i would find it rude. unless of course you invited him. Like fake a phone call and leave the room, and then say that he should probably leave

In this case I will say yes. To hell with being rude, tell him he has to go. He should have called first. If u got things to do put him out and keep movin.

If I knew them really well and they were family or a good friend, I wouldn't mind if they did it.
If I didn't know them that well? I'd ask them what in the heck they think they are doing!

I have had that happen. I tell them " this is my home not a hotel lobby and do not enter my home with out me inviting you in. Thank-you for understanding".

Just a little - make an excuse like you forgot you had a doctors appt. and you have to go-or you need to go to the store.

yes yes yes I have had that happen with my cousin... he would just show up one day and stay for like 3 days! ARGHH made me so mad! So I finally ended up telling him that he couldnt just show up and stay anymore he needed to make arrangements with me first

My room's always in a mess.So I don't like it when people drop in unannounced.Grrrr...
Ask him if he would help you feed your pet skunk and watch him vanish into thin air!!!
