Did anybody take Jordan seriously when he played with the Wizards?
Some guys just aren't as dominate as before. But that doesn't mean you should disrespect the guy.
Added for the next guy:
Shaq is finals 3 time MVP with the Lakers for all three rings Kobe has. Kobe carried the team? Shaq set the Finals record in points made and FG percentage, rebounds, blocks, and ft made and attempts. Kobe carried the team? Kobe just pissed cause he cannot be the "hero" like Shaq.

Im still a Shaq fan. On and off the court. I like what he does for the community and little kids. He has a great personality. And he can still dominate. But age has caught up on him. But when healthy and a few pounds lighter he is a force in the paint. Unfortunately, this season was an injured team and wasn't ready to defend its title.

What you are experiencing, is what we in L.A. had to put up with. He's lazy, the year L.A. repeated, Kobe carried the team, as Shaq came to camp 80 lbs over weight. Year three, Kobe again had to carry the team as Shaq waited until three weeks before training camp to have toe surgery. Year 1 with Miami Shaq was on his best behaviour, not hes back to his old habbits.
Kobe played 82+ games, Shaq only played when he thought is was worth the effort. I guess the Bull were not worth it.

super question by using you and enormous answer by using NBA Historian. i will carry on with it up by using in basic terms asserting the NBA is a league of merchandising. because of the fact the days of the Magic and chook; theres constantly been an 'attitude' of types to play as much as the plenty. Magic and chook got here interior the NBA very almost at the same time after a clean opposition in college, and it performed in the process the 80s. interior the 90s, it became the Jordan era, and as 'entertainment' developed with drama, the NBA accompanied healthful. The Kobe-Shaq years have been crammed with triumphing; yet plagued with "drama." The NBA may well be mendacity in the event that they mentioned they did no longer like it, for one basically take Shaq's first year faraway from the Lakers, and without notice you spot a Christmas Day Lakers vs warmth game. this is basically yet another 'attitude' the NBA prospers on feeding us. "Can Kobe win with out Shaq?" and now the frequently "Kobe vs LeBron" and final year's "Celtics vs Lakers opposition Renewed." The NBA prospers on this is merchandising, additionally at circumstances annoys us genuine followers of basketball, the game itself.

I got to admit he has become a liability with his offensive fouls, and his free throws have always been an liability. I think people just expect to much from him. He isnt a Allstar caliber player anymore. He is more of a role player. That being said, Im sure that, Any team in the league would still love to have him on their roster.

No. Shaq is getting old. He is in his downside of career. I have to say Yao is the best center in the league even though I am not a big fan of him. One thing I don't like about Shaq is that he relies too much on his size. Without it, he might be playing football or somethign

hell no, hes been on the decline ever since the laker organization got rid of him. now hes nothing more than a diminishing celebrity. finally the stupid look on his face corresponds with his weak game on the court.
age, lack of motivation, and lack of exercise have finally caught up with big weasel.
