Probably because the media tells them they are ugly without it. I hate seeing girls wear makeup daily, especially at a young age. Make should be for when you truly feel you need it, not when you're 17 and have a perfect skin complexion. Maybe if more men would openly admit that they don't like makeup on women, they would decide to take it off and see their true beauty. Me? I'm 17 and never wear makeup, unless its for a formal event or i have a HUGE zit. Small pimples, I leave them alone because makeup will only make them worse. So if you think a woman is beautiful without makeup, tell her you'd prefer her not wear it. It's very stupid, and i'm glad you caught on to it.

Because we're women and no matter how good a woman looks, she will always have some insecurities about herself. Makeup covers up those insecurities...and we always want to look better, so putting makeup on makes us feel more beautiful.

What I have noticed, is most of the pretty girls/women wear makeup, and the less attractive ones don't.

Sometimes it's cause the ugly girl thinks she is hot and doesn't need it. Sometimes the pretty girl thinks she is terribly ugly and DOES need it. But more often its because us nonattractive girls have a lower self esteem, and think that makeup won't help, or are too scared to get it, and pretty girls know it will only make them better.

it is more of a security. that is the way men see them and they compliment them while they have it on. as a woman myself if would never take the chance that a man would like the way i look without makeup. it would be very hard for me not to wear makeup around a man that i do not know that well, i would need to trust that person would not make fun of me.

I dont mean 2 sound cocky but Im a beauitful woman( Told by my Husband, Family, & Friends...I KNOW THEY AINT LYING....But ne ways it isnt about me) But its like an accesories(Earings,Necklace, & Etec) Is adds that lil HIT to ourselves!!! Like wearin eyeshadow... brings out the eyes or lipstick it brings it out!!!
