Headaches occuring on the pill, which were not present before, is an ABSOLUTE reason to discontinue. Quote from data sheet:
Reasons for stopping oral contraception immediately: Occurrence for the first time, or exacerbation, of migrainous headaches or unusually frequent or unusually severe headaches.

They might not go away. You might be sensitive to the hormones, as many women are. That means that hormonal birth control (no matter what brand) is going to have some unpleasant side effects for you.
Hormones are also what causes these same symptoms in pregnant women (weight gain, sickness and headaches). The pill is basically tricking your body into thinking its pregnant so you don't ovulate.
Have you considered a natural method of birth control? The sympto-thermal method or NFP has no side effects, is free and is 99 percent effective when used properly.
Sorry you are feeling so bad. If pills were doing that to me I would throw them in the trash and try something better for my body, esp. since there are much better options out there.

I've just come off that exact pill after 6 years - i always seemed to have headaches but that's the only side effect but not one worth suffering - give it a week or so more and try to take paracetamol for a few days if no change get your doctor to try another - so times it takes a few trys before you can get the one thats suits individual needs - good luck!
P.S unless your trying for a baby with steady partner - remember to always to condoms.

I'd call the doctor. Maybe the pill is too strong for you or you need a switch. Why suffer if you don't need to?

I am on the same pill and I don't suffer from headaches. You might need to get them changed.

i got that with using this pill (which i dont recommend!) im not sure if its down to that because my symptoms are down to a disease i have but if it may be the pill getting used to your body and hormones, wait until your break through bleed and if its doesnt get any better then go back to your dr and change it to dianette or cileste.

My daughter was taking the exact same pill and also suffered headaches but she also became very moody and had bad PMS so she stopped taking it.

I think you should consult your doctor if you think you are having side effects. Another side effect is raised blood pressure adn you need to make sure that is why you are having the head ackes ect
