Do you think Marilyn Manson is normal or does everyone just think hje's a media freak?

Just to look at him you would think he some weirdo. I don't like his music but I respect the fact that he can be himself irregardless of societal standards.
Back when the Columbine massacre happened, the media tried to blame his music for influencing the boys. He was asked in an interview what he would have said to the boys and he responded, "Nothing, I would have listened to them."
He tries to get attention because of his looks and lyrics but in his business that is a very smart thing to do. I don't support his lyrics or views for the most part but I defend his right to be himself and applaud his bravery for doing so in a society that is so quick to judge.

Isn't almost every famous person media freaks? That's how they stay famous. Personally I find Marilyn to be quite artistic. Very creative. Maybe not someone I would want my young children to admire. Yet, I do personally like his ideas.

I think he is a talented artist in the niche of shock rock. I think he has worked his *** off to be where he is. The reactions he gets from people are no different than the way Alice Cooper was treated in the 70's. Also, its impossible to have a rib removed so that you can give yourself head.

I think he (or she? I honestly can't tell sometimes) is incredibly strange. Really. But, on the plus side, if you've ever listened to his "Food Pyramid Song" it is hilarious. But other than that, man he is weird....

i dont mind him, he is kinda wierd, and does some really bizzare things(like take out his bottom ribs to give himself head)...but i do respect him
