Just arrest everyone at the "protests" and anyone that can't prove their legal status boards the bus back to wherever they came from.

I can't believe I finally agree with you on something. It had to happen eventually.

They should, it is sickening to see these people who illegally entered our country use our right to assemble and protest to demand citizenship. What the freaking hell is wrong with the INS that they arent rounding the up? I mean this would be like breaking into a place where you want to work, then getting mad and protesting in their lobby demanding they give a job.

This is a great question. I'm actually wondering this myself. It seems like one of those big slope graders they use at ski resorts could simply drive down the street and gather everyone up.

We could have an optional wood chipper on the back too!

BTW Muscat: Criminals don't have the right to protest or dissent. Legals American citizens do....Enjoy your Kool-Aid

Not everyone at the rallies are illegals.

There are just too many of them to arrest - it'd become a riot.

Civil unrest might spread to the whole 11+ million illegal population, and that'd make the Watts riots look like a schoolyard scuffle.

And, they don't really want to deport anyone, 'immigration busts' are strictly for political show.

I would love to see it.
It makes perfect sense - that is why it won't happen.
When INS comes into the local factories here, they do not check to see if the papers they have are forged or legit. As long as they have some type, they can stay.
INS sucks at their job.

It would be convenient and efficient to conduct such a round up. But for some strange reason, people would think their right to actively protest or dissent was being violated.

Cause the NAACP would call it racial profiling or some dipshiite thing like that. I think they should do it anyway but they have to be PC which is BS.

You'd see public opinion shift violently in favor of the immigrants. There are very few scenes more compelling than seeing fellow human beings rounded up and treated like livestock.
