the cabin air filters are located behind the glove compartment and the right side of the instrument panel. They are not the easist things to get to. You'll have to remove the glove box, the under dash trim and the kick panel trim to get to them. The filters are located behind a black plastic cover that runs vertically in the space to the left of the big blower motor housing. The cover should just pull out and then you can remove the filters. I think that there are two filters on that model; one on top of the other. You typically remove the lower one then the upper one drops down in postion to remove it.

it is something you can do if you have patience and just go easy until you're sure all of the screws are removed.

hope that answers your question

According to my 2004 Honda Civic owners manual you are to have your dealer change it. It does not give the location of it. I would like to know for myself. Sounds as though it's a way to get you o spend a lot of money for something you may be able to do yourself.

order it from the dealing. There is not much of a mark up on the filters.
