All snakes can swim, all snakes can climb. Scarlet kingsnakes are "supposed" to live underground for the most part, but are found at the tops of 20 foot palm trees at times. Diamondback rattlesnakes are "supposed" to live in dry habitat, but I've seen them swimming across ponds in marshy areas.
My bullsnake spends a good deal of time in her water bowl, mostly just before a shed, like today, but will almost always go directly in her bowl after it is filled.
Anyway, yeah, bullsnakes can swim.

i am pretty sure that they cannot swim but lurk along the shores of lakes, streams, and rivers... hope that helps
