Well since I buy my gasoline at Republican owned Gas Stations and only have to pay $1.17 a gallon after showing my Republican Party membership card.
I don't really care what the Non-Republican Party members have to pay.
I still get more miles to a buck's worth of gasoline in my hummer, than a hippie driving his 72 VW bug.
EDIT:
Whats funny, is the Oil companies made a higher rate of profit under Clinton than they are now.
Back in the 90's they were making around 11% profit, now they are making around 8% profit.
But you never heard a word about the oil companies making record profits in the 90's.

False
Everything that you purchase includes gasoline used by the importer, supplier, retailer, manufacturer, delivery truck, etc.,
Most employees every day needs to commute to work, therefore if everybody needs to pay more for gas they would need to get the extra money somehow.
Even every white color person commutes to works, most drive. They need money to buy gasoline so their wages are higher due to the high gas prices.
The high gas prices even effects medical insurance costs (Ambulances, doctors, nurses, maintenance staff, etc), income taxes & property tax costs (police cars, fire engines, emergency service vehicles, federal, state and local government employees and vehicles, the presidents and other elected officials motorcades, etc., etc.)
Need I go into the US Military and their uses?
I wonder how much gasoline is used to create special effects for movies, Disneyland, Universal, and other entertainment parks.

High gasoline prices are good for the environment (because they force people to use less gasoline), and for the makers of small cars, alternative fuels and vehicles that run on them, and bad for communters, truckers, and anyone else who uses gasoline - and, ultimately, for the economy as a whole.
Low gasoline prices are good for consumers, bad for the environment, since they reduce the costs of goods (and of commuting), but encourage increased consumption, and make it harder to get alternatives to a competative cost model.
Straightforward, really.

True.
Iran has a lot of crude oil but no refining capability, therefore, the falling oil prices and rising gas prices has had the effect of throwing their economy into a huge recession. Inflation in Iran is about 150% and rising. It's called winning a war without firing a shot.

Prices are neither good nor bad. They indicate the relative value of a product at a certain time of exchange.
The only reason someone might argue a high or low price is good or bad is that they either hate the products use or like it very much. The enviros like high priced gas because they hate the effects of burning fossil fuels. The poor person likes the lower price because it allows them to drive to work without taking up much of their check.

False. Greater competition in the marketplace leads to lower prices and more efficient utilization of resources.
Higher prices means there are greater monopolies and or the process of getting and refining is becoming more expensive.
Like Iran depends on the oil resources for its economy so by causing world tension and conflict it can cause the price per barrel to go up because getting that oil becomes more expensive.

It depends on your perspective. High gasoline prices are probably good for the gas companies, service stations, compact car dealerships, the environment (people may drive less) etc. Low gas prices are probably better for tourists sights, commuters, families on a budget, me.

high gas prices hurt those who are struggling from paycheck to paycheck. lets not forget about the profiteering oil industry who gets about $30 billion dollars a year from government in the form of tax breaks and subsidies. I don't doubt that we should drive less or perhaps consider an battery electric car for the short drives to the coffee shops or the store. the SUV's are not very efficient on the short trip scene.

FALSE! When the oil companies are making excessive profits on high gasoline products that is not good. Products prices should be controlled by supply and demand and not by the oil companies as it is today!
