Sorry, this is not possible and not probable.
Have you asked this question to the straight population as well, so that we know you are not bigoted against LGBT people?
Straight people know as well as LGBT people that sexual orientation is inborn and not changeable. So the question is moot.
However, if you asked it in this way, you may get different answers - knowing that there is a difference between sexual BEHAVIOR and ORIENTATION -
"Would you have sex with the opposite gender if it would change the world?"
The answer: Of course. And this wouldn't change my orientation one bit.

No, I cannot change it.
Plus that implies I'm harming the world, but I'm not.
Oppression harms the world, not homosexuality.
Oh and it's a sexual orientation, I don't prefer it, I have no option.
If you do, well then you're bisexual, I'm not so I cannot possibly make the change, it's unnatural.

Well, if all of the straights turned gay, it would save the world, by limiting the population, thus ending world hunger, rampant disease, unwed mothers, crack babies, orphans, etc, etc, etc, but I haven't seen all of the heteros changing yet. I mean, come on... it will save the world!!! What is wrong with people?!

If the world was about to end and changing to heterosexuality would save everyone then yes!
Also if I was straight and the same situation acurred I would turn gay.
Not really a difficult decision.

If humans could save the world through displays of tolerance and acceptance of peace... open-mindedness is not a regular event in human history though.

I would change it for a day. I would be completely celibate though. And then after the world was succesfully saved.....i'd be right back in where i was before....and ohhhh what a lovely place that is.

yes, to save the world and the 6billion peeps in it sure. altho since i dont think the worlds survival depended on me finding virgina attractive i dont have to stress to much about that one!
