Hi, Im just wondering what people think of the smell Patchouli, as I can decide weather I like it or not. I just got some bath salts in this fragrance but I can decide. I tried a bit of it then in water before I bath in it, so if I dont like it or other people dontl like it I wont stink standing next to them. But I wasnt to keen on it at first but as the smell is on my hands I keep getting a wiff of the scent and I think um whats that smell and then I remeber what it is.

I got it given as a sort of gift.

I think it's great but then again, I wore it back in the early 70's. The scents today that contain patchouli are better mixes of several scents together. It's a sensual smell that can rouse the senses if you ask me. I find that there is a hint of patchouli in the old stand by perfume, Tabu. It's awesome. Us "BOOMERS" like that of course. It is definitely a 'like it or leave it' scent though. Good luck to you with it. It could become your 'signature scent'.

Every time I smell Patchouli it takes me back to my school days. I've never liked the smell very much, but one of my school friends thought it was great and wore it all the time. I wonder if she still does? I preferred wearing Jasmine it was a warmer, sweeter and more seductive somehow. Patchouli just made my nose wrinkle. You used to be able to buy little bottles of scent like these in one of those hippy-style shops that sold love beads and jos sticks...

When ever I smell someone wearing Patchouli I immediately think of Marijuana. It is a very strong scent and many people immensely dislike it. THAT MEANS that many people will immenselly dislike being around you if you smell like that scent. Sounds terrible but there you have it. People tend to avoid smells that they dislike, and if you are wearing it they may even subconscioulsy assosciate you WITH that smell.

I like the smell of it, but it is best if the scent is very faint. A little goes a loooong way.

That was the fragrance of choice for hippies/flower children.
It's like everything else, some people like it some people don't (be prepared to have people tell you you smell like a hippie).

Cucumber melon is a physically powerful one. i do no longer discover those in shops anymore yet you may get them online. they have those new scents like Freshly Picked Apples and Freshly Picked Strawberries(greater fruit scents are available) that scent truthfully yummy! they are relaxing scents and suitable for summertime. playstation the Freshly Picked stuff i discussed in basic terms are available creams and physique washes

I like it but that is rather due to the fact that one of my girlfriends, way too many years ago, used to wear it.

If I catch a smell of it anywhere it reminds me of her.
