Oh my God!!! I hadn't heard he had passed away. That was and still is my favorite show!!! Have every season on dvd. Just think of all of the fun you had watching the show and how much his character was important to the story line. I know he wasn't an Ingalls, but just think how different the show would of been without Rev. Alden, Doc Baker, the Olsens and Miss Beadle.

That show has always made me cry. A few healthy tears never hurt anyone, though. Grab a box of tissues and just enjoy the show.

ohhhh i loved him, he played Reverend Alden

just keep watching it, Little House always brought me to tears, even before Victor French or Michael Landon were gone
