Seal the borders, and change the laws to make penalties stiffer for illegals and the employers that hire them. Take away a few businesses to start, and the others will fall in line.
A work permit should be offered to anyone with PROOF from a current employer that they are working. The employer would be motivated to supply the proper documents to avoid any future prosecutions.
No proof, no status. Kick out the ones that we can without the proper papers as soon as they are apprehended for any reason.
NO SOCIAL SERVICES UNTIL PROPER CITIZENSHIP IS DETERMINED!!

Deport every illegal alien. If they are men between the ages of 18 and 25 they can do 4 years in the military and then become citizens.

Illegal immigration is an urgent problem that the current president and Congress must work on right away. The first debate was very shallow because there were too many candidates and too little time. I believe that most of them have a position on immigration and that you can find it on their campaign web sites. Hope this helps.

The 12 million illegal immigrants should be kicked out because they are not living in the US legally. But leaving it up to the worst criminals on the planet to do so (politicians) is not a viable option.

Fire them, evict them, impound vehicles and homes! They need to pay for their crimes and debts they have caused the American Tax Payers and Citizens.
If an American steals, they pay for their crime NO AMNESTY.
If an illegal steals, send them to their home country. There are plenty of Americans that will volunteer to drive the bus!
Starting with me!
BTW - Mexico's punishment for illegal's could possibly be an alternative! Their's is a real deterrent!

More like 20 million. I say we close the border, attest all of them seize their assets (to pay for their deportation) then rehire people who are still in their countries, tax them heavily, make them pay for their own way, and close the loophole that two Illegals can make a legal citizen.

So easy for people to say send them home, but has anyone thought about what happens to the children of illegal immigrants, who if they were born here, are legally entitled to stay here. So are you in favor of breaking up families, and making these children a burden on our social services systems? With stricter enforcement, more people are being deported, and many are making the decision to leave their children behind here in the US. This is really happening. In these cases, wouldn't it be better for these children, who are citizens of this country, to have parents taking care of them, and providing for them?

Apparently I just recieved some info that I didn't know. and one of my answers is, for the male imagrents, they should be casterated before entering the U.S. because 3 out of 5 Mexican male imagrents that are in jail, are there for child molestation. And thats in New Mexico. Thats a good start.

They can start by mowing my lawn and cleaning my house. After that I'll take 'em back down to the "Day Labor" office and they can wait for a landscaper or roofer come by.
Oh, you meant long term? Then I don't know.

They need to be sent back and apply to come here legally. We also need to put a stop to this crap of illegal aliens' children being granted citizenship automatically. That's just dishonest on a whole lot of levels.
