Do you mean psychology? If so, then the rankings for undergraduate psychology programs are highly correlated with the rankings for undergraduate schools in general. Go to the best school that you can get into, and you are likely to be at the best psychology program that you can get into.
Here is something that may help you. Princeton Review has a tool on their web site (see link below). You answer questions about your background and interests -- and it spits out a list of schools that are appropriate for you.
Good luck.

I study Psychology at Aston Uni (in Birmingham) and it's great!
My uni is quite well known for being one of the only universities to offer a placement year. After your first 2 years, you have the option to do a work placement for a year, then you do your final year. Here's the website:
http://www.aston.ac.uk/
Try reading this to help you decide:
http://education.guardian.co.uk/chooseadegree/story/0,,1741467,00.html
League tables can help you decide, but in all honesty many people ignore them because it's difficult to see what they are being judged on. The best way to decide is to order a load of prospectuses and attend open days. There's a lot more to your Uni life than the course - accommodation, location, nightlife, ammenities, etc all count. You can pretty much get whatever grade you want at any University, you just have to work for it.
When I came to Aston for the open day I knew this is where I wanted to be!

The University of Hull has long had a good reputation for Psychology at degree and post -graduate levels.
It does expect its applicants to be able to spell.

The Guardian's league tables should give a fair idea:
http://browse.guardian.co.uk/education?SearchBySubject=true&FirstRow=&SortOrderDirection=&SortOrderColumn=&Subject=Psychology&Institution=
Keep in mind that there's far more important things than league tables though - such as whether you like the place. Your own impressions are far more important than any numbers.
For example, I'm at a "top" university and I hate it :P

If you are going to apply you might want to spell the subject correctly:
Psychology
It means your application won't end up in the bin.
