With Saddam gone, the big oil companies have better control over the oil market.

In April 2001, the Council on Foreign Relations issued a report stating that Saddam Hussein was a “destabilizing influence” in the oil market and that he posed the threat of using the oil weapon to manipulate oil markets. That threat is now eliminated. The oil companies have enjoyed unprecedented record profits.

Well, thats a tough question. What was the mission? Securing freedom? spreading Democracy? Stopping Saddam? Catching terrorists? Finding WMDs? I'm not quite sure. But what I am sure of is that when we went to war, President Bush said that this would be a war unlike any other. This would not be a war with a "victory day" where we could say, "today, we won!" Bush said that we would know that the mission is accomplished when we see Iraq take a responsible turn to help its people. We will know that mission is accomplished when constant violence in the mid-east starts to ease. It won't happen all at once (or maybe not even at all) sorry.

When he said mission accomplished he meant that Saddam's governement was completly removed from power...so in that Yes mission was accomplished. Bush said the end of major fighting was over when he said mission accomplished, and it is. When was the last time we were in a fight with a tank infantry? What we are fighting now are little flies who keep buzzing around our heads. The hit,and run hit,and run. An actual fire fight only happens maybe once a week ,and it is usually over in about a half hour. So again Yes the major fighting is over.

Yes the mission that was completed was completed. The other mission is not yet completed but a surge is on and it might be completed soon? The Terrorist mission is on going and will be on going, I think for at least until the next administration comes in. Then and only then Will my Mission be complete and I can dump all this heap of bullshirt on the Libtards.

Yes the original mission was to depose Sadaam and install a new government. That was accomplished.

That does not mean the job is done. We still have to stabilize that government. We are still in Germany and Japan but I supposed we should have got out and let them fall into chaos too, if we had stayed in Afghanistan after we helped them beat back the USSR in the 80s and had helped get a stable government there instead of doing what the liberals wanted back then and leaving, maybe we would not have had the problem with the Taliban and terrorists based out of Afghanistan on 9/11
