Within the nephron, there is a plaque of cells in the ascending loop of Henle that is called the macula densa. Where this portion of the loop contacts the afferent arteriole, the wall of the arteriole contains secretory cells called juxtrglomerular cells. The combination of the two is known as the JGA, so the answer to #1 is A.
