I dont see how a 3rd would make any sense, as the Prequel was a videogame, the first film was great, and the animated episode explained the events between Pitch Black and The chronicles of Riddick. A sequel to The Chronicles of Riddick would be very difficult think of. But it would be pretty kickass to see another.

Chronicles of Riddick did badly at the box office, it might be difficult to get funding for a 3rd Riddick movie. However, Vin Diesel is working on a movie concerning the great warlord Hanibal..which he is writing and directing I believe.

So far I have heard nothing about a third Riddick movie being made..... I checked all the "notable" sites and I founud nothing.... so no 3rd instalment....... yet
