Can someone tell me if it is normal for a snail to grow in your tank without putting something in it to make them grow and if they are alright to keep them in there, I have only one now but was wondering if it will have anymore of them.

You probably bought some plants and got a snail egg or small snail you didn't notice. Snails will grow more noticeably when they're younger, but will continue to grow all their lives. They'll eat algae and any leftover fish food they get to before your fish do.

Some snails are able to reproduce by themselves, other cannot. It would depend on the type of snail you have whether you'll get more.

It is definetley possible to get snails without planning for them. If the snail is very small you will have more. I reccomend taking it out of the tank because it is possible for your tank to be infested with these things. About a year ago somehow a snail got it's way into my tank and reproduced like crazy. even to this day i'm seeing one about every two months. There is probably more on the way.

The snail will just eat the algae that grows on the tank..so actually, whey will help to keep your tank clean!

If you have added plants to your tank some times they have snails on them and can multiply very rapidly. Adding aquarium salt it help control them from reproducing

Snails grow by themselves, just like people...

You will probably have more, snails are hermaphrodites...

your snail will eat algea,& left over food so it will be fine. As far as only having one, that probably won't last long!... you may want to check out this site.
