When I went with my (now ex) hubby to buy a new car, he paid in cash that he brought in a briefcase. I actually didn't know what was in it (just thought he was going to work after) until we sat down with the financer and he said "we don't need financing, we're paying cash" and opened it.

I have yet to ever see a man with a briefcase full of money, or maybe I have and he just didn't tell me......=)
