I get in my car lastnight, the low beams dont work. Brights work fine, parking lights are all that come on when lows should be. I changed the bulb in one, that wasnt the problem, checked the fuse, that wasnt the probelm. Any ideas? I am trying to avoid a mechanic, thought it might be a dimmer switch or something. Help Please!?!

The 2001 Civic has a recall on it for your problem with the low beams. The problem is with the combination switch. Honda will replace the switch at no charge under the recall regardless of the mileage or age of the vehicle and regardless if you are the original owner or not. Take it to a Honda dealer ASAP for your own safety

you do not commence with the bulbs. you commence with a $2 attempt mild on the bulb socket. in the journey that they are hid, they could't truly be examined. yet bulbs are not likely on condition that for both highbeam and both low beam to be out quickly, ability a twist of destiny of four undesirable filaments on the very similar time. a foul hi/low relay is extra likely. would also be the swap. commonly assorted fuses, so it really is not likely. you pick a attempt mild and commence monitoring it down as to the position modern-day and the position no modern-day.
