We will be there Friday - Sunday.

I have an Anfield stadium experience day sorted for the Saturday..

but need help with central hotels (close to stadium, nightclubs, restaurants) either 4-5*

Where are the best nightclubs and bars.. is guestlist required for any of them?

Any ideas on what to do or places to go during the day?..

..Where's the best place to go shopping, i'd love to treat myself to something in Cricket!! lol

Cheers for any tips..

Go down the docks and catch the slavery exibishion, it's educational and moving. The beatles exibit is on the docks also, but if your not a fan of thier music, give it a miss. Catch a ferry to Birkenhead and back, see the auqarium thing me mate keeps goin on about.
If your goin to a liverpool game understand any comments comming your way will be friendly, its part of the city to take the p*ss, even if your scouse you don't escape the riddicule.
for night life start in the cavern walks and follow follow follow.
hotels, try the moathouse for a great city centre location, the raddison is a bit futher out and a lot of the other central hotels you may not class as 4*-5*, as the location itself is a star.
Have a great time, Liverpool is an amazing place, especially of a night.
Should you have any other questions, or feel i haven't quite got the things you may enjoy right, drop me an e-mail, i'm contactable through my profile. Hope you enjoy this fine city.

Liverpool Hotels Near Nightlife

The best cocktail bar is the Residents Lounge in the Hope Street Hotel, the cocktail man there just won British cocktail maker of the year and they are gorgeous! The Hope Street Hotel is lovely too for a Boutique style hotel. The Malmaison has 2 suites, one called The Toffe Shop and one called The Kop, that might be good if he is a LIverpool fan, the rooms are themed. For clubs that play R&B/Commercial head to the camel club, G Bar Garlands or Mood. The Georgian Quarter has the best bars though, that is where the Residents Lounge is. For shopping the Met Quarter is good, has Whistles, Armani, Flannels etc. Caven Walks has designer boutiques such as Cricket, Vivienne Westwood and Drome. Church Street is the main place for high street shops such as TopShop and River Island.

Hope you have a good weekend x

If you want to splash out The Hope St Hotel has got 10/10 from the Sunday Times, is close to both cathedrals, and has a really good restaurant. Apart from this its the Raddison or Marriot. Cheaper ones are The Dolby or Formula one.

Night life head into the City Centre you are bound to find what you want

For something different visit Chambre Hardman's house and photographic exhibition that is not far from The Hope St Hotel, or the newly opened visitor centre at the Anglican Cathedral with its trip up to the top of the tower with spectacular views of north west England and the Welsh mountains. The magical Mystery tour is a good way to see the wider Liverpool area.

your best staying in the city centre for your trip as around anfield there isn't many nice hotels. I'd try the Marriott but if that's a bit pricey try the lord nelson there both smack in the middle of town. As for club's it's mainly big bars in Liverpool but if you want a good club try the mood it plays different kinds of music on each floor, that's by concert square. For r n b try the camel club which is on wood street and for the best cocktails try mo do concert square. really all you have to do is head for concert square and you'll find a good place to go. Shopping is easy head for met quarter and then the high street for all the well know shops.

Hotels: Yes theres some near the centre.

Nightclubs/Bars: Theres loadsnear the town centre - on 'Bold Street' and Concert Square. Most are good.

Day: Shopping in city centre - theres loads of shops also new shopping centre 'met quarter' which is kinda 'posh' i s nice to look round.

During the day: Depends what your into. Aside from shopping you could:
-walk round the docks
-Museums.
-Art gallerys. (if you like those things - if not they're nice anyway)
-If you're staying near the centre maybe look at whats on at the liverpool Empire while you're there. (usually shows, musicals, etc.)

Theres loads to do. Visit tourist info for more ideas.

the trip lodge interior the city centre is extremely good, or while you're finding for some thing slightly greater less high priced yet no longer a huge dive like the formulation a million there is an ok IBIS lodge out next to the Albert Docks. Taxis are somewhat inexpensive in Liverpool so which you do no longer ought to issue approximately getting lower back on your lodge.
