I'd feed him some Polk salad and then you wont have to get any money from mom (she always says no anyway!). He'll be dead and we can sit inside the ice cream truck and cool off eating as much as we please.
BETTER YET, we'll drive the truck around town, switch the old tune to Elvis Presley's "Polk Salad Annie" and sell the rest of the ice cream, we'll split the profits 40/60.
40% for me, 60% for you, because of course, you're higher up in the yahoo answers levels than I am, therefore deserving of more pay.

I'll try chatting the ice cream man up. You'd be surprise how many of them like to talk about themselves! If that does not work, then I'll pretend not to know what I want.

I'd just pretend I didn't know exactly which ice cream I wanted, especially since I know I only like the strawberry cheesecake ice cream.

I'd pretend I'm having a really hard decision on what to choose. HMM a fudgsicle or a ice cream sandwich, or hmm a Drumstick, or maybe a popsicle, or look hey I didn't know they sold pop now, cool...hmmm...(looks to see if your coming),,Oh here he comes. I'll have 1 oreo cookie ice cream sandwish please, what you having buddy?
