What? Just cause I have a boyfriend makes it ok to discriminate against me and him, along with thousands of other people? It's not ok! People just simply discriminate against us to make them feel good. Look at the 50's and so on. I think people discriminate against us because they feel the need to. They were probably brought up in that time when it was ok to discriminate against people that were different.

As long as someones activities do not actively hurt someone else or infringe on someone else's rights they should be free to live their lives in whatever manner they see fit free of discrimination. Being a member of the GLBT group doesn't hurt anyone so the straight community shouldn't discriminate against them.

goodness no! you know, people these days are obsessed with being themselves and are totally for individuality. but then a gay person comes along, who is doing exactly what technically everyone wants them to, and people can't handle it, so discriminate against them. its ridiculous! gay people should have the same rights as everyone else and be treated equally, because they're just living their lives as they should. they are being true to themselves. which people should respect!

The question should be, "Should anyone be discriminated against?" and the answer is, "NO" because simply, it is a very hurtful thing to do and very unfair. No one should be treated better than another simply because of difference in gender, orientation, race, religion, height, hair colour, fat/thin etc.

Everyone discriminates. If there were no discrimination, there wouldn't be shows like 'American Idol'.
You wouldn't choose one person to be your partner and discriminate against others.
You would like Jerry Falwell equally as your friends.
Everyone discriminates, there's nothing wrong in doing so.
And several of you will discriminate against me when you give me a thumbs down. You should be ashamed of yourselves!

Of course not. But for your homework you need to make up your own mind and state your own opinion.
For arguments, try Google, keywords gay lesbian discrimination. One site:
