Amazon.com have a load of free legal downloads and most of the comments so far are very constructive. Avoid Limewire and P2P as as what you download will be illegal or worse , contain a virus.

Yahoo has the Best music Site None Stop hit you can choose what you want to listen to when you make your list of favorite Artist, go to the Main page and lock your self in to nice music!@

To just listen to music, you can use Pandora or Napster, both free to sign up for...

If you want to download music, either use a bit torrent or Limewire.

Limewire make sure your computer is pretty clean and has'nt been bugging out lately you should have no problems :}
