Yes. Being gay doesn't make you evil. Whether or not you approve of the lifestyle, you have to deal with it being everywhere. It's the same as women and blacks not being able to vote in the past. Eventually, it will happen because it is a hinderance of their rights as humans and VOTERS not to be able to enjoy all of the freedoms we have in the US.

The gvmt shouldn't have anything to do with regulating people's relationships and marriages

It's ridiculous that some people believe that this is a constitutional issue, as currently we all have the same restrictions on marriage, so there is equality under our laws.

You never hear these people argue that the tax code is unfair because the rich have to pay a higher percentage of their incomes for taxes than poor people do. If you are really for equality, then you would argue that everyone should pay the same percentage in taxes.

no longer interior his ability. the yankee public thinks the president is all sensible and he's not. George Bush has been criticized for issues a recommendations previous his administration. Clinton were given credit for the technologies develop and Reagan were given credit for the fall of Communism in Europe. the US develop into shaped because they did not pick a king, yet many supply the president undue praise or blame for issues he can't do. gay marriage is a states' rights mission and not in any respect for the federal govt branch. he will have a recommendations extra major issues to attend to than gay marriage.

of course i do! a lot of people believe in gay rights or gay equality, but out of those people, very few of them actually believe in gay marriage. which is a bit odd. If you support gay rights, then how can you just turn around and say that gays shouldn't be allowed to marry? marriage, after all, doesn't depend on sex. all that matters is the love. and gay people are just as capable as loving than anyone else!

the problem with asking this question in this forum is that you are going to get two extreme answers:
YES from gay people who want their rights
and NO from haters
you arent going to get any information from people who have neutral feelings about the issue, ie my straight friends who are all for gay marriage probably arent going to come on this site and say they are, but they do exist. I mean look at one guy, he is so focused on hating gays his tag is "phag hater"
i mean really, get a life, dont you have anything better to do than hate gay people, get a hobby and answer questions in that forum.

Why should a part of population be excluded from rights that others have?
Equality for all, no?

I'm gay, and I believe in freedom, so yes.

It makes us equal, not special, not seperate, just normal, a regular part of a larger sexual spectrum.

I was tired of feeling like a leper, so when the law changed I thought it was great. Though I always thought it was inevitable. Oh I live in Canada by the way.

Oh and it's a legal matter only, not religious. So religious folk need to get their nose out of it. If they want to rule the country, well then they're no better than the Taliban now are they?

Yes, I believe in affirming the Constitution, which gives ALL citizens the same rights. This would include the right to marry one unrelated person of age of their choosing.

Anything else is state-sponsored discrimination.

Religion has NO say in what rights the STATE gives its citizens.
