So, doesn't that reinforce Liberal ideas? Why do we not trust educated people? Could a conservative please explain to me why it seems that no one who is educated is conservative? Or perhaps why conservatives don't want to be college professors?

Explain this to me please.

I full heartedly agree with Stephen Colbert when he said, "We all know reality has a liberal bias". I'm thinking it has a lot to do with that.

Hippie Hater: I find it funny that YOUR political party invited Stephen Colbert to speak at the White House Correspondence dinner without ever actually hearing his act. He made that statement RIGHT in front of the President. You know that, right?

I agree with you, and it is also true that blue states have higher college graduate rates, also lower obesity, lower teen pregnancy, lower welfare rates, lower bankruptcy rates, lower infant mortality, lower divorce rates. It makes you think...doesn't it?!

Something else along the same coin is that Fox News watchers are the least informed...

The most informed are Daily Show/Colbert Report watchers!

You can guess what political party views which shows the most...

To be a college professor you need a PhD. To spend all that time in school with little or no income means that you value other things more than money. That is not a point of view on the world that blends well with traditional conservatism. But Newt was a college professor before he went into politics, so you should not over generalize.

Liberals be responsive to as much as a container of rocks.. The Liberal ideology is a concept , fostered by using a delusional, illogical minority and which holds forth ideals that haven't any foundation in actuality. they are Advocates of a coverage that empowers a reliable federal government to enslave its those with a severe tax burden incident to the help of extravagant and pointless social classes unfavorable to the two the paintings ethic between the decrease type, and the motivation to innovate and be triumphant between the working type. "while the folk locate that they are in a position to vote themselves funds, which will usher in the top of the republic." Liberals prefer to spend different peoples funds!! the matters we are dealing with on the instant are through fact the folk who paintings for a residing are outnumbered by using people who vote for a residing. @

When I was in college the understanding was that those that can't do it :teach it.
If you don't like working in the hot sun and find agriculture hard work join the education profession and teach agriculture.
If you can't make it as a lawyer become a judge, district attorney or teach law.
If you can't successfully compete in business become a business professor.
At the University of Maine a feminist student organization had a girl go to a professor say she was pregnant and a Catholic then ask if she should have an abortion. He advised against it because she was Catholic and it was against her religion. He lost his tenure and was fired because he violated the separation of church and state as found in the (former) Soviet Union Constitution (article 50 something) the girl was neither Catholic or pregnant.
Another professor at the University of Maine bragged he never allowed a veteran pass any of his classes. Lying and hatred are liberal characteristics, not conservative characteristics,

Providing that a person provides a top class education to his pupils, should it really matter what that person's private political views are?

Besides, if this is true, you have to ask youself why most intelligent educated people are liberal. Could the current driving down of educational standards and trying to teach mythology as science have anything to do with conservatives trying to reduce the number of educated and therefore liberal people?

My experience as a Republican in college, law school and 32 years of law practice (uneducated, huh??) has been that many college professors are liberal. That caters more to the student body who are young and predominantly liberal. As they grow older, like most people they understand that being liberal is not what they thought it was. More and more turn conservative.
I considered becoming a professor but decided I could do more good by practicing law. I make more money and take on a lot of pro bono cases at the same time.

Just because a liberal idea is promoted, doesn't make it right!

Perfect example is abortion. Liberals believe it's the woman's right to choose and Conservatives believe in the rights of the child. Liberals will never accept that abortion is murder.

Liberals also believe that the rights of criminals are more important than the rights of the victims. How else can you explain the fact that lethal injection is cruel and unusual punishment for someone who axe murders a family?

Most liberals believe in handouts, governent subsidies etc. Conservatives feel that you should EARN what you get.

Liberals feel that God needs to be removed from everything in the government and cite separation of church and state, when the Constitution states that Congress shall make no LAW respecting establishment of religion. It never stated that you can't have religion in government.

Well I have a masters in Moli Bio, so I am not stupid. I am conservative, so I am smarter than many.

The problem here is that most "professors" have no experience in the real world, they spend all their time ponitificating, decrying the social injustices and telling us all what to do - because in their own small minded, bed wetting way - they fear that someone might figure out what a total bunch of boneheads most of them are. Go look up their CV, 99% have never held a real job.

And don't let them think they want you to be a "free thinker" they are haters - and soul eaters, agree with them and be their puppet and live. Don't and die
