I believe more exists in the universe than what can we can prove. First, man has limited intelligence and some things that are provable will never be understood by our overdeveloped money brains. Second, there is too much stuff in the universe to catalogue, much less prove. For those who rely on logic and reason, doesn't this make sense? How can you think the only stuff that exists is what man has discovered and proven?

Yes! if you're belief is grander than the proof,
Proof itself wont be necessary.
& the grandest of all beliefs is Faith
always remember Faith is limitless..Logic is limitted..
a lot of saints died in the name of the Unseen,
but a few scientists died for what they've proven.

Sure, you can believe anything. Lots of people believe a lie and don't even know it's a lie, but believe it because it feels good. You can believe something because you sense that it is just so, but can't prove it. It just makes perfect sense to you, so you believe.

Some things have perfect logic to them but are not necesarily true. The logic works only within a certain framework but ignores higher elements that would make the logic illogical.

Atheists are a good example of illogical people. They don't believe in God because they cannot find proof of Him. Yet, because they know so little of the universe and all its realities, seen and unseen, they think it's logical to conclude that therefore God does not exist. If a bear poops in the woods and I don't see it, does that mean the bear didn't poop at all? The atheist blames the theist for believing in something that has no proof, but you don't need proof to believe in anything, just a sense of sensibility and therefore an acceptance that the idea is true and exists in reality.

More exists in the universe, but we may never be able to prove what form this 'matter' takes. I can believe this as we know there are billions of galaxies that litter the cosmos. What planets dwell within these star clusters is open to interpretation.

We may never know the full mechanics of the universe as science is all about discovery and boundaries are being pushed constantly.

Yuor right there is more in the universe than what we can find out because it has been a lot of years since man colonised the earth but learned about some things only recently and still has a question mark to many things

yeah true , we believe in god but can anybody prove the existence of god . or tell me how much time it would take u by modern technology to build pyramid , do we have any prove that earlier civilization were as intelligence as we are .

or for example can any body throw some light on origin of universe there are many theories circulating but none is final one .

we have to accept that our power is limited our knowledge is still limited we can explain every phenomenon - so there are many thing we accept without proof - we may call it faith or superstition or hypothesis.

Evidence i believe is all man made. Think about it, it has been placed somewhere for someone to discover, doesnt mean what hasnt been discovered dont exist, i hear ya!! I believe in religion over science, the bible explains a lot more than the science books. Yet both were written by man

Oh My Gosh... absolutely...!

It may sound like a cheap pun... but you're right - There's a whole universe of things we either don't understand or don't know exist.

I still have grave doubts about the existance of gods and spooks and the like... However, I'm hopeful that we'll find Never Never Land if we keep looking long enough.

We have a lot of work to do, don't we...

We all know that there's more to the universe than can be seen, if we didn't look beyond the horizon, we'd still be living in a flat-earth society. But jumping to a supernatural explanation defies common sense and logic, i'd rather stick with the observations, knowing that there's always more to observe....

I don't think that you have to have proof to believe in something. For people that have religious faith, faith is belief in the unseen. Can a frog hop backwards? Some might believe it can, but I've never seen it. That is not to say that they have proof of it and believe it because of that. Ducks always migrate. Not necessarily, but just because you don't have proof that they always migrate doesn't mean you can't believe it. I am just throwing out possibilities.

do you truly believe that anything can be proven? everything i believe, i believe without proof. any true scientist would agree. nothing can be proven to be true. the accepted "truths" are only accepted under the conditions that they have not yet been demonstrated to be false.

i have faith that my car will take me to work tomorrow. it usually does, but it is not a proven fact that i should believe in. it is highly probable that one day soon my car will fail me- it's old, paid for, and has had no major problems yet despite my lack of performing regular maintenance or getting oil changes at their suggested intervals.

similarly i hold many beliefs without 'proof', but they have not failed me yet. many people hold to many beliefs they have not even tested! this i can not understand. how can you say you have faith that your car will take you to work and then never get in your car to even see if the ignition will start? you have to be willing to test your beliefs, and let them go if they fail the test.

many of my own misconceptions of God have failed and i have discarded them, but i continue to 'try' God everyday and God has not failed my yet. like the car... if you don't have the faith to ride your beliefs you will never know if they are worth believing in. there is no proof in logic and reason, and faith is only developed in the living out of your beliefs.

Peace.
