That about right? We as Americans have no right to decide who may enter our country? With that kind of mentality it becomes clear they must feed their kids lead paint chips by the bowl like corn flakes down in Mexico, that'ts the only way someone could grow up to be that dense.

Too true and the Mexican Government is very strict on not letting others into their country and kicking out illegals. God forbid we want the same right as any other country. The number of illegals coming in from Mexico or already here would constitute an invasion and could conceivably be a reason for war. (not that I am advocating war with Mexico but if we has that many Russians or Chinese coming into the US we would be considering war)

Sure seems that way to me. It kills me how, all over the world Americans are seen as arrogant, but these criminals break into our country, steal jobs from Americans, rent houses and apartments and aren't even willing to learn English and demand amnesty. Talk about arrogant.
I've done my part and called my two Senators to tell them that as a citizen who obeys the law, I demand a secure border and the laws enforced. I suggest everyone else do the same.

What an argument. Governments can control their immigration. Thats on of its duties. I know it sounds completely crazy, but its true. Governments also have the right to have a police force and military.

The logic of the undocumented immigrants is that they are too large a political group to be ignored. They make too big a contribution to our economy. They see themselves as a major contributor to our society, and fulfilling a necessary function to business.

Therefore they believe they should be treated as "de facto" US citizens. They also believe that they have achieved a critical mass to demand certain recognition including using Spanish in schools, and government.

You may not like it, but there is some logic to their position.

I have no patience or sympathy for people who have entered our country illegally. They need to get out and get out now. What is it about the word "illegal" that they don't understand? We're supposed to owe them something because they chose to come here illegally and use our system for their own benefit? Please.

"We as Americans have no right to decide who may enter our country?"

isn't this true anyway, doesn't matter whether we (the public) want illegal immigration to stop, the politicians are all intent on allowing it to continue unabated no matter what the consequences are
