With respect to Marty Moore, and Jim Finn, both who have had good NFL careers. With Moore making the SB with the Pats.

Bill Kenney of the KC Chiefs went to the ProBowl in 1983. Threw for over 17,000 yards and had 105 career TD passes.

Kenney was given the "honor" of being named Mr. Irrelevant in 1978 when he was drafted by the Miami Dolphins. The award traditionally is given to the last selection of the draft; Kenney earned the award as the second-to-last selection when the last player taken suffered a back injury and failed to report to camp.

Kenney went on to serve in the Missouri senate.

Despite the nickname, several players who have been presented with this dubious honor have made the team that drafted them and contributed on the field. Bill Kenney, who won the Mr. Irrelevant award under special circumstances in 1978 (see below), was a Pro Bowl selection in 1983. Special teamer Marty Moore became the first Mr. Irrelevant to play in a Super Bowl when he did so with the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI. Jim Finn is now the starting fullback for the New York Giants.

Marty Moore, LB 1994
Marty is the only Mr. Irrelevant to own a Super Bowl Ring, and went on to an 8 year career in the NFL.
