Fifty percent of the people I work with seem fake. There's these ladies who over exaggerate how great everything is. Some sick guys who always stare. Rude middle aged women, who always have something to comment about. I mean should I pretend to like them for the sake of my job. Or stand up for myself and be just as trickey as they are.

i would not say i cant stand them (i keep to myself sometime) but i agree that what you just described sounds like my job.
if they are not interfering with your work, then you have to learn to ignore them

your not the only one. The ladies in my office are so cheeky to my face then turn all ugly and catty when I leave. Screw em'. That's what I've learned. Just be a big ole ***** and they'll get the message. As far as guys, my boss is the biggest perve of them all. He stares at me all the time with no care in the world if I see him or not! I have a great job though and don't really know that there's anything I can do about it but ignore him. It sucks. People just suck. Sorry :(

I think that being at work is a social experiment sometimes, I mean you work and see the same people over and over again, the littlest thing could send you into a rage. I sugguest that you bare down and keep focused on your work

Work ethic is an important thing. Be cordial to the people you work with, don't look for friends there and do your job.
