I don't know. Many people do and find her dresses too much and unflattering but I love them. I think they fit curvy and petitie bodies really well and are so feminine. She does delve into cheesiness sometimes but I think it's all about how you style it and what you pair it with.

absolutely not!
sure, its not exactly sophisticated, but most people don't turn to betsey johnson for sophistication. they turn to her for fun, flirty, feminine clothes in bright colors. what with spring here, people need to wear more color, and betsey johnson dresses and shoes (they are adorable!) are a perfect answer to that. she occasionally lapses into some dresses that are overboard on the femininity thing, but with the right person and accessories, they too can be pulled off just fine.

i think the dresses are really cute and girlie. I have Betsey Johnson oversized leather bag and I love it!

i like betsey johnson because her designs are very original...they`re not for everybody, but they suit a certain style of dressing that is a bit more edgy, especially if u put them together with something funky...

im petite and curvy and her dresses are so great... they fit beautifully and flattering... i do admit some of her stuff is a little out there but i wouldnt call it cheesy... if she made cheesy stuff she wouldnt be who she is today

I think her stuff is rather over priced. I found a few cute things but its by no means everyday wear. Sorta you wear it once then it goes in your closet forever!
