Even if the War in Iraq was for oil,it will never go down to 2.50 again. They will make as much money as they possibly want...No one stops these companies from inflation, maybe if we had a president that actually had a conscience..And that helped the average america and not corporate america.

Not only is it cheap compared to other industrialized countries, the Conservatives are the ones working to bring the price down. They want more refineries, more domestic drilling, nuclear power all of which would help lower the cost.
Liberals are behind the fact that we have not built a refinery here since 1971, no new nuclear reactors for 20 years (other than naval ships) and they outlawed drilling off most of our coasts and in Anwar.
If you want to blame someone for the cost of Oil the Liberals are far more to blame. Also remember the oil companies make on average $0.08 per gallon while the government (through taxes) gets $0.51/gal (higher in some states)
Oil companies make more money from plastics (yes made from petroleum) than gasoline.

By comparison, gasoline prices today are still lower than they were when your great leader Jimmy Earl Carter was in office. Why is it that you're so ready to forget about that but now claim that the President can do anything about a commodity that comes from another part of the world? Tell your lib buddies that we intend to drill for oil in ANWAR and, if that disturbs a few Caribou, too bad.

Who cares about the rest of the world. When I have to choose between lunch or gassing up to make it to and from work, I guess I'll be losing weight this summer, huh.
What an answer: "So, its not as expensive as London." Well, that is why my American *** lives here. What ever happened to competitive pricing. Even better, WHO CHARGES a TENTH OF A CENT FOR ANYTHING?!!!!
That mentality, "hey, it's cheaper than Europe" is the precise reason the gas is getting more expensive. without standing up for our consumer rights, by boycotting all but one Oil company, or some other stunt, then ALL OIL COMPANIES KNOW they can simply raise prices and there is nothing the Feds, State, City or Local government, NOR THEY LAZY, COMPLIANT PUBLIC can do about it.

All i understand is it pressured ME for my section to discover an decision! i purchased 2 vehicles that run really on organic and organic gas (methane), and that i'm so satisfied I did. They run ninety 9% air purifier than gas vehicles, plus it prices me below $10 to suitable off! i'm saving an astounding type of money. As for the authorities doing it, I doubt it. gas is way, a lot extra acceptable expensive in eu international places than u . s . a .. Whoever or regardless of is causing it, it would pick to be a good aspect if it receives every person off their butts and replacing their recommendations, eh?

It is actually cheap when you compare it to any other liquid you buy (water, etc.). Anyway, it's simple supply and demand. Why not raise the prices if we're gonna pay it? That's capitalism. We need to demand alternative sources of energy which has been hampered by this administration so that they and their oil company buddies can keep stuffing their pockets with all the profits.

OK Mr know it all
If you do some research on all of the other major country's you will find that we are paying 1/3 to 1/2 less for gas than they are. It's a big world out their and we are not the only country using gas.
Oh yes don't forget all of the road taxes and other taxes placed on each gallon you buy.

Primarily it's more expensive because eco-liberals forced their agenda and additives are placed in gasoline which are supposed to be environment friendly.
