Growing up there were 3 things I said I'd never do
1) get married
2) go to college
3) move into a mobile home
Did all within 3 months of each other - made a believer out of me. I try my best NEVER to say I WON'T do something anymore.

I said I would never settle for the comfortable and high paying job that I didn't like. I did and now I am not so happy in my career.

I said I would never lie to my children, but I knew I was leaving their Dad and told them it was fine. I lied so I had time to plan a way out for us, but it was still a lie. He is mentally abusive to me and the kids.

Divorce.
I told myself that when you truly love someone you could work through anything.....
I realized I was completely deluded when he knocked out our 5 year old's front teeth.
