I have done both and i like the stand up beds better for a lot of reasons. It doesnt take as long and also it seems to get the tops of my shoulders a lot better. I think you should try the stand up beds a couple of times and then decide. And since summer is coming closer, natural sunlight usually gets the hard to tan places....
Good Luck and happy tanning!

I've used both types in the past (many years ago before being married)....
With the stand up you do seem to get an even all over tan cause you don't have to turn and stuff like that (lol...yes I've done that, too) but if you do get bored standing for so long, so that's the only draw back, really
So if you can handle standing for so long (I always go went the full amount of time in the standing and lay downs) and trying to keep your self entertained, I say go with the standing one

If the beds are good, you shouldn't have to turn at all. The beds you lay in do cause white spots under your arms, though. I have always found that for some reason the stand-up booths are stronger. Seriously, if your chest isn't getting dark, you should find another tanning salon because it should be the first thing to tan.

just use the stand up bed once in a while it get your sides and anyother pressure points. Do it like twice a month. The bulbs in the stand up beds are usually stronger so they get the spots that the beds miss. When your in there hold your hands above your head to get your sides.

Stand up may help, but maybe try a spray on. It can help even out your tan and then maybe go back to beds again and just do that every once in awhile to even it out. You could also use lotion that helps with a tan. If you dont know its just like regular lotion but it actually gives a glowing tan(depending on the kind you purchase) You can also just lay out in the sun for awhile and see what happens.(like when goiong to the pool when you get out, sont dry off just air dry cuz being wet helps atract sun.

i prefer the lay down beds...i`ve never had trouble with an even color, i just make sure to turn over halfway thru my session...check to make sure the facial tanner is turned on in your bed, that might be why your chest isn`t getting tan...

i deffo think the stand up ones there not as much hassle and you dnt get patchy skin! its good try it but dnt use sun beds or the stand taners all the time beacuse they can cause a lot o skin cancer!
