Very shortly I will be 25 years old. I need to start to look for a full time job. I also want to continue on with going to college. Here is what the I need the advice about.

If I were to get and 8am to 5pm job will my employer let me go an hour early on certain days so that I can attend classes?
Are there any companies that hire full time employees that has either flexable hours or hires employees for second shift?

I am not intrested in home based business.

Yes, definitely! I did this for a few years to finish up my degree. Just be honest and upfront with them from the beginning and many companies will be accommodating. Most employers appreciate employees who are trying to further their education and they value it highly and will try to help you out. Remember, it benefits them to have employees who are educated. If you really want to be sure though, you could always go to a hiring agency. They know all the details of the jobs they offer and could tell you how flexible they are. Many people find permanent jobs from being placed by an agency. You could also look at jobs on campus. Colleges and universities are always hiring full-time staff and it would make it easy to get to classes!

There are some employers who allow hours off for things like college classes; there are some employers who do not have fixed hours (like 8-5) but rather flexible timeframes in which employess must complete their work. The best way to approach it is to present your situation when you interview for the job. If you will be completing your degree soon, you can specifiy that, indicating that the flexible time request is short term, rather than a permanent request. Its all in what the company is willing to negotiate with you. (But don't forget to ask nicely!)

Many employers have tuition assistance plans. I worked full time and attended classes in the evenings until I got my degree. The employer paid about 75% of the tuition. I had a flexible work schedule but never had to take time off before five pm to go to school.
