Well, where are the factory jobs now, with no Carbon Tax? Oh yeah, they're laying off people and shipping jobs to Asia. What about those middle class jobs where a mid-level diploma (Associates or Bachelors) are all that is needed to earn better than minimum wage...also poof, gone to India, China and other countries (just try calling Verizon or Time Warner...you'll get to speak to "George" from New Delhi)
Even worse, the "jobs Ameircans won't do" bullcrap: why are a lot of Sports (baseball, basketball), Entertainment (music, movies) and other industries, where the average salary surpasses a 2 family households' yearly income, dipping into the "immigration field". As Nick DiPallo stated: "I don't know any American who wants to pitch in the MLB". What a friggin joke.
And, BTW, China is building one coal burning power plant per day, has loaned most of the money G.W. is pissing away in Iraq, and also owns quite a bit of US bonds, in case you ever want to wake up and look beyond the Tell-I-Vision and formerly free American press/media.
It is a sad day when people like you prefer money and fear when nothing can exist without Planet Earth. The Bush and Cheneys, Kerry's and Clintons of the world plot about different versions of NWO, when common sense and logic tells you that, if you allow the Planet to deteriorate and be destroyed, duh, then there will be no World to control. Check your priorities, mate.

There are still factory jobs here? OK, maybe a few - maybe some of them even employ citizens or legal residents. But, no, the number of factory jobs lost to the carbon tax will be relatively minor compared to the number already lost to rising wages and benefits, that drove jobs overseas.

Just about all the ones we have left. This is one of the issues the anti-progress enviro-left dodges. It is not as if products will not continue to be made they just won't be made here. This dovetails perfectly with the desire of many to see the US broken and impoverished. Oh and because global climate change is supposed to be a global problem perhaps these folks could explain how anyone would be better off simply because production is moved out of the US.
