Whether he's gay or not, he has the right to choose his sexual preference and it doesn't make him less of an athlete or a dancer or less of whatever it is he has accomplished or will accomplish. As long as he will be an asset to the society, it's OK to be whatever he wants to be.
I have friends who have followed his journey to stardom since his Olympic days and they said that he's sworn into secrecy about he's being into a deep relationship for the sake of his career. So, he's committed, too, like his partner Julianne.

Many people these days are respected for their athleticism, music and what they do for contribution to society as well as their humanitarian work.
You know some people say Clay Aiken, Anderson Cooper and Sanjaya are gay.. If Anderson and Clay are gay I'd be disapointed, because they're sexy but who really cares so long as they have a dedication to their career and job? :)

I honestly don't know. It would be great with me if he was and he came out at a press conference and said he was dating Johnny Weir. But whatever his orientation, I hope he is happy, because he certainly seems like a genuinely nice guy.
