I'm not sure you can all answer this because I don't have full detail, because I can't remember it well. Anyways. Its like a 70s or 80s movie when a girl like can't find her little brother and she has to go to this weird place in her house where poeple like kidnapped him. And these things would always show up in her room. It was a weird movie.

Sounds like "Labyrinth" with David Bowie and a young Jennifer Connelly. Jim Henson made the creatures and some characters. Artist Brian Froud did the concept art and even used his own son for the little brother character.

I don't know what it is, but I'm pretty sure it's not the Labyrinth. First of all, Sarah never had to go to a "weird place" in her room. She was transported to another place by the Goblin King. Second of all, didn't "always" show up in her room. There were two instances where the creatures were in her room. Once in the beginning when they were trying to scare her, and the Goblin king shows up. The second time was at the end, when Sarah calls for them and they have a huge party. So I don't think you could be thinking of the Labyrinth.

I remember a movie with a very similar plot called "House". A man and his wife (William Katt & Kay Lenz) move into his deceased grandmother's house, and their little boy disappears. The man finds a portal to another dimension behind a bathroom mirror and weird creatures come out of a bedroom closet. It may sound creepy, but it's really a comedy. I just caught it on one of the cable channels a few months ago.

I am sure its the Labyrinth. I have that movie. Its a Jim Hansen movie. If its the Labyrinth, then you should remember that it stars David Bowie in it... I think its a fantastic movie, i grew up watching that, fragile rock, the black crystal, and The Flying Purple People Eater....
