would you buy your childhood home if it was for sale?

1086 Simmons lane.....yes I would in a heartbeat....they completely re-did it and stuff,but boy do I have great memories there....theres a nice big Pool there now too. Oh goody a wonderful thought for the day..thank you

I've thought about it, and for the longest time I thought, yes. I miss that place. Now that I've gone back to visit, I'm not so sure anymore. It seems so much smaller now than when I was a kid. However if it was for sale, I'd buy it, I don't know if I'd want to live in it though.

yes,i would,thats where all my childhood memories were,but the house was demolished years ago and the Trans Canada Highway now runs through the property where the house was.

I would totally buy it if I had the chance, so many good memories have been made there, and well alot of bad ones too... but just the thought of owning that same house make me giddy ^-^

had no such thing, apartment to apartment...

My husband bought me a house as a wedding gift, he knows how I feel about that. Our triplets have a childhood home, and so does my daughter.

I couldn't - we lived in way to many houses when I was a kid but my hubby & I own the house that he grew up in.

I'll probably inherit it. It's a great house - 5 bedroom split in upperclass neighborhood.

yes, it's perfect for bringing up kids in but i would want to live in the city for a few years first

It was a and is still a dump but with property prices the way they are, it would have been a shrewd investment.
