well consider the following facts about my state of massachusetts - the bluest of the blue states and the only state where 100% of the counties told gw bush where he could stuff it in the last election.
lowest divorce rate nationwide - imagine all those liberals happily married while the red south seems to lead the nation in that particular category.
in the top three standards of living in the nation - even though kkkons would like you to believe that we all are on welfare.
so, to summarize, people in my state are more content in their marriages and have more money.
i'm sorry, but i seem to have forgotten what you point was...

No, they protest. The most noble thing an American citizen can do is 'get involved' by turning out and letting her (or his) voice be heard by the media at a big rally. Doing so re-affirms the rights of Americans to free speach (though, not hate speach, of course), and serves as a catalyst for real, positive change (which we've had a lot of in the last 40 years, so it's kinda odd that things suck so hard right now). The Americans who go out and march and chant and wave signs - braving the brutality of the jackbooted thugs neo-cons euphemistically call police - are the real heros, not the gun totting murderers for hire in the military (but, uh, Support the Troops!).

To be fair I consider myself moderate-left and, in general, am a pretty optimistic person. And I do have one conservative friend who has a pretty pessimistic view of things. You shouldn't really just lump whole groups of people into categories like this...
I'll admit that some far left-wingers (Michael Moore) complain often, but I'm sure you can think of at least a few far right-wingers who do as well (I know I can).

so instead of doing something positive, you are actually feeding the negative cycle by complaining about others who complain.
How can you not see this as a double standard? i'm young and live in a liberal city and most everybody I know enjoys themselves and is positive and active in doing things, we know we can't save the world, but we do what little we can to improve our community.
Maybe left wingers are tired of the boy president and the corruption and cronyism that has been rampant the past 7 years. Maybe that gets them down sometimes.

I'm a liberal and i'm happy most of the time. I spend my life "doing things" in fact I made a career out of it. Your typical right wing slap with nothing to back it up is meaningless. You want to attack a liberal idea, policy or program that's fine, but no you can't be bothered to even come up with something you have a problem with let alone make any points to prove your case....you say "liberals are unhappy". What does that even mean? Though I find it funny that at the same time you couldn't even be bothered to make some kind of real agruement on a real issue you took the time to ask if liberals are lazy.

perfect, i will't write with my left hand in any respect! yet I do dissimilar issues with my left hand, apparently i'm left hand eye co-ordinated. Or perfect, whichever is the different of what perfect handers should be! I open doors, carry bags and do maximum stuff with my left hand.

When the left takes the presidency, I'm sure teh right will complain equally.
Even now, there are more than a few right wingers complaining. You, for instance.

Hmmm...good point. They do seem unhappy and complain a lot. I guess I don't know why...maybe their subconscious is trying to tell them that their entire mental outlook is flawed. Who knows?

Funny, but it seems to me that the right are the ones complaining all the time. It seems they are not happy with their own lives and worrying about if what they do is right or wrong, they want to legislate their version of right and wrong to everyone else. They are so fearful they hate everyone that is different.
Hate muslims, hate gays, hate liberals, hate blacks, hate hate hate. Why are you so miserable and afraid?
