Some time ago, they dated (?) for about 2 months.
But look at the wire service photos of Jennifer Love Hewitt...
seems to have had at least a dozen-and-a-half dates in
the past 10 years! At least two dozen,if you believe gossip reports.
Sometimes the guy is called a "boyfriend"....sometimes,
not. When JLH also has a hit show at the same time,it
gets weird. Like with Carson Daly,10 years ago.
By this time the preferred term should be "date du jour".
Any other description doesn't seem reasonable.

Yes they did.They dated for almost 2 yrs.John Mayer now dates Jessica Simpson,they have been together for at least 7 months.

Yes, they dated a few months maybe, a couple of years ago. Supposedly, "Your Body is A Wonderland" was inspired by her.
