Reid and Murtha are on the far left of the left side of the left. They cannot have a conscious thought of anything other than running and loosing with loosing being the highest order on their agenda. They will not entertain the thought of winning because they did not do it. It is a Republican who is going to do it. If a Democrat had been President on 9/11 2001, we would have had a hundred more attacks on the U S mainland and might just now be thinking of doing something about it. And, just like when George Bush pushed for action, there wouldn't be any objections. Please pray for your local turncoat Democrat.

the first theory that got here to my thoughts upon reading this positioned up develop into a million. WHY is college training fee is us of a ridiculously expensive? WHY do colleges favor a lot money? a school isn't a employer like Apple or Microsoft. My sister will graduate from her 4 years of faculty quickly and the completed coast of training pee paid for the time of those 4 years....is OMG too a lot. the quantity is merely about as a lot because the U.S. nationwide debt. 2. do colleges fairly favor dissimilar money? 3. us of a is presently dealing with an economic disaster; it really is anticipated to be between the worst ever in U.S. heritage. So unemployment is a growing to be issue, the economy is getting spoiled and there are extra possibility free electorate suffering below the poverty line. and that i'm not hostile to the authorities besides the indisputable fact that the federal authorities would not seem sorting it out nicely. i do not comprehend that a lot about the ecnonomy, so I realized from my sister (she's a employer / economics major) and that i will tell that the rustic, the economy etc are all dealing with a disaster. Soo....i do not comprehend yet until eventually the authorities resources to love help the unfavourable pay for faculty or something I strongly recommend that faculties do not advance training prices. in the different case...us of a will face a good worse tutorial disaster. Does the stuff I typed make experience? wish it does. And......the forged information is that the pricy training fee paid to a great college develop into really worth it considering that my sister were given a great interest 2 weeks beforehand commencement.

simple answer? because of political motivations. they want power. and the quickest (not best) way is to appeal to the average "dumb" voter. and currently, that is to oppose the war. it's all about scoring political points. not what's best for this country or for the Mid-East.
BLACK- that area has been torn apart by violence LONG before we ever got there. and we created more terrorists?? how so? these people wanted us all dead before they became terrorists, before we even went into the region.. it's not just terrorism we're fighting. it's islamic extremists and rogue states that support terrorists we're fighting as well. and something else.... that's the problem with the whole anti-war movement. these people are just looking at the here and now. looking at the situations as they are currently. yes, we need to be mindful of the present and make decisions accordingly... but, we must not forget to look at the broader scale. look at what we will be gaining, not just at the negatives like death tolls. which, is a part of WAR.. people are killed in wars. but, unfortunately, people are killed the terrorist coward way. which is ONE of the reasons we are there.

The removal of Saddam was only a clearly great thing from a certain perspective. Many Iraqis are dead now who would otherwise be alive, and many Americans are dead now who would otherwise be alive. Is it worth the life of Pat Tillman to knock over a foreign government that posed no threat to the US? Why are you so eager to get our soldiers killed in quagmires like Iraq? Also: how is the current situation a "good work", "well worth the efforts"? Have any members of your family been killed over there? There are more terrorists now than before, and we have seriously destabilized the middle east while damaging American prestige and security. How do you convolute that into a positive situation?

Most experts like "We will be treated as liberators" Cheney and "Six days, maybe six weeks" Rumsfeld? Puh-leeze.
If you believe the "they will follow us here" argument, then you believe two things:
(1) Bush has had five years to improve domestic security and has screwed that beyond all recognition as well
(2) the fantasy that Al Queda would love to come here and kill us, but is trying to save money on airline tickets and they've never heard of Priceline.
Jeez, the stupidity burns...

I'm tired of the spin of "cut-n-run", that is NOT the plan. I am assuming you read the Democrat's plan, right? It states that troops will begin to deploy GRADUALLY, at the discretion of the President. A full withdrawal by next October, at the discretion of the President. Remaindind troops will stay to train the Iraqi police and help recostruction.
It doesn't sound like a bad plan to me.

It's called politics. They know that the public is tired of the war (a natural feeling after years of it) and are using that to further their political careers with disregard to what is the proper course of action.

I didn;t realize there were expert psychics. Tell me, where were they when Bush thought the Iraqis would greet us with open arms? Or are they the same people who said they would, and the war would be over in maybe '6 days, 6 weeks, I doubt 6 months?' Should we believe them NOW?

what a nice recessitation of neokkkon talking points!
i didn't care about saddam in 2001 and i don't care about him now.
i want bin laden and payback for 9/11 - not some two bit dictator (one of dozens currently in the world) who was completely controlled and presented no threat to the usa.
go and take a look at the current state of new orleans before running on about what's important and what isn't...
