Tonight on American Idol, Jon Bon Jovi is the vocal coach, and all the contestants, so help them God, have to sing Bon Jovi songs. I have to say that, after hearing a number of that band's songs over the years on the radio, I can honestly say that I have never heard a Bon Jovi song I liked -- not a single one. I can't think of too many other bands which have
released more than a few albums that I can say the same thing about (Iron Maiden and Judas Priest come immediately to mind).
If anyone responds, besides telling me how wrong I am about Bon Jovi (and I will admit that Jon seems like an awfully nice guy), I'm interested in hearing what bands you're familiar with that have released at least several albums, where you can't name even one song that you like.

Dude, Bon Jovi has been one of the greates band ever since the 80's!!! and JBJ still singing perfect .... better that all the other 80's bands which are MIA.

Haha... I actually have to say, I do enjoy Bon Jovi's music, and enjoyed it on American Idol last night. Maybe it's cause I'm a wedding photographer from Santa Barbara, http://www.timhalberg.com, or maybe because I grew up in the sticks...
But, I have photographed Iron Maiden in concert, and I actually did like a few of their songs...
Let's see, I like country music, I like pop, Regina Spector, Corrine Bailey Rae, Bjork, Imogen Heap, Metallica, all sorts...

Wow, I am a die hard fan of Bon Jovi, and that's crazy, usually everyone loves at least one song, but hey, to each their own! I can't get into any hardcore metal 'screamo' music, it drives me crazy, and really raunchy rap too I don't like, never got into Bruce Springsteen at all, hm.. I am sure there are a bunch of others, but my mind seems blank right now

well lets start with, there's not a rap artist on the planet that has one song I like. Theres a bunch of hip-hop and alternative groups, whose names elude me right now, that have no songs I like. Not a hard one! Bon Jovi has some good tunes. I'm especially fond of "Its My Life".

I love Bon Jovi, I really have to admit I have been looking forward to this since I found out. I really don't like anything-P Diddy has ever done, I'm sure there's more but I really don't like him.

first of all you are wrong 'bout Bon Jovi.His got lots of cool songs.You should listen to his lyrics coz most of the time it's like his telling a story being a guy who grew up in Jersey.Just like Bruce Springsteen.Of course you have to be open to other different genre of music.
For other artists/ genre who I can't relate to : Bjork , some of this new breeds of metal bands that just seems to scream on the top of their lungs.It's just crazy. and Rap ( i don't know if I'd consider that music,well that's just my opinion.)
