I'm guessing that the answer to this question was either provided in a lab explanation or a lab handout. I'm not sure I know 6, but here are some:

Make sure that the tubes are good and don't have any cracks or chips in them.

Balance the tubes--make them all have the same mass.

Arrange tubes in the rotor in a symmetrical way so that the rotor is balanced.

Don't open the centrifuge while the rotor is spinning.

1. Be sure to not cover the centrifuge, so you can see whats going on.
2. Put all the heavy test tubes on one side of the centrifuge
3. Always stop the centrifuge with your hand
4. Make sure the centriuge is not on even ground
5. Use older, cracked glassware
6. Always use the highest speed.
