Yes and a very good sign.

Rabbits, Cats, Dogs, all do it when they are feeling content and very comfortable.

Lying on their backs is a sign of great trust and shows that they feel safe and secure in their home and in your company.

Be delighted you have a well cared for happy relaxed bunny.

I've seen rabbits lay on their backs before, completely zonked out with their little front feet resting on their chests and their little back feet splayed out. It's super cute. I think that means that she does feel extremely safe and comfortable with you - rabbits are prey animals and they wouldn't expose their most vulnerable parts at such a vulnerable time if they weren't absolutely 100% sure that nothing could happen to them. A rabbit my family had when I was a kid would sit on the couch on his backside and rest his front paws on the armrest, looking for all the world like he thought he was a little fuzzy person sitting there! Rabbits are such funny animals.

Growing up I used to show rabbits with 4-H and when trying to calm a rabbit we were always taught to hold them on their back and massage their shoulderblades. This put them almost into a trance - it released some sort of endorphins I believe and the rabbit was, I guess you could say, on a high. Possibly your rabbit has found a way to do it himself?

Yes, it's very normal. My rabbit used to only play "dead bunny" when she was sleeping, but now she'll lie on her back with her feet up in the air and her eyes wide open. It's kind of creepy at first, but once you realize there's nothing wrong with them, it's so cute!

She's totally fine. No need to worry at all.

I've been raising and showing rabbits for 25 years. There's no need for a drawn out answer on this one.

Don't worry about it.
