Don't assume we all read the same papers and watch the same news - what friggin' men are you talking about?
Alright, I looked up what your talking about and basically she's not gonna need to testify because everything was taped or recorded. Those things can be presented in court in place of someone actually testifying so long as the police did everything in the investigation correctly. I am a social worker who has been called to court on child abuse cases and it is my experience that they will take my notes into consideration but I have never gotten on the stand to testify. They supeona me and my notes, but I never get called to the stand. And the men rarely get more than a few months in prison if anything at all. It's a sickening system but this is the answer to your question.

I was asking myself that same question when I read the story. You'd think she would want to help put away pedophiles. The only thing I could think of is that she doesn't want to on anyones bad side...including pedophiles...maybe she feels they will come after her if she helps put them away.
I don't think she is worried about her reputation and it getting out that she had cyber sex with these guys...it's already out that she did it...so what difference does it make if she testifies?

Maybe she knows that it was entrapment and her concious got to her. Only she knows the real truth but obviously something snapped her back to reality.

Don't know but she shouldn't have gotten involved if she didn't plan to see it through. She turned it into a cheap publicity stunt.
