Abruptly, when it needs to be changed, like when my guests are in a heated conversation. It takes them off guard and leaves them bewildered for a moment.

I'm like Jacob Two-Two, I have to ease in and repeat to get attention. Most of the times at the speed the main conversation be going when and if I do get in the speed seems to decrease. Maybe I use polysyllabic words most people don't understand, or like just answering this Too Verbose.
Now there are times when I do want to change the flow and I'll announce: Depsite what y'all talking about I want to talk about ...... or Might not be a good time to talk about this but...... or This has nothing to do with but...........

I like randomness.
So usually I just abruptly change the subject.
I know this is totally off the subject, but what do think about me changing my name to Wally?
