How can i ensure that the css styled web pages appear correctly on major web browsers like IE, firefox etc...How do i fix this....

Since MS didnt exactly follow anyone elses standards it is a major issue. The best you can do is supply a css sheet for each major browser! It does take building more than one style sheet.
